So recently upgraded my computer. It's kind of a hand-me-down so I replaced a lot of things. ![Boot From Dvd Biostar Motherboard Boot From Dvd Biostar Motherboard](/uploads/1/2/5/8/125807566/619448803.JPG)

Ssd-500gb samsung ssd (new)![From From](/uploads/1/2/5/8/125807566/413588594.jpg)

And my DVD drive is also new, assuming it was broken but having bought a new DVD drive and now having that one not work I'm not so sure.
Problem.
Bios sees DVD drive, and ssd, the cables are new and yes I've tried both sata ports on the motherboard. I've set bios boot order to boot from DVD then ssd. And also the other way around. I've tried booting only the DVD drive. It's a brand new copy of windows 10. And I cannot get it to boot up so I can download the os onto my new ssd. At this point I'm at a loss. Help.

I've changed the boot order in BIOS setup to boot from CD-ROM. All was well, but when I tryed to do the same thing again (the 1st boot process went wrong), for my surprise the CD-ROM boot option disappeared from BIOS setup and I'm not able to recover it again, no matter what. I've updated the BIOS (Winflash utility got from ASUS website) from version 205 to version 208 (ASUS website again) in.
